The Rebels enter 2026 with new head coach Pete Golding and new offensive coordinator John David Baker and new defensive coordinator Patrick Toney.

New head coach Pete Golding takes over after Lane Kiffin departed for LSU, inheriting a roster that reached the CFP semifinals (13-2) in 2025. The offense is led by QB Trinidad Chambliss (6,862 career pass yds, 48 TDs), who won an eligibility lawsuit to return — his SEC Newcomer of the Year campaign included 3,937 yards and 22 TDs. All-American RB Kewan Lacy (1,671 rush yds, 24 TDs) and All-SEC OT Diego Pounds anchor the skill positions and line. Key departures include Princewill Umanmielen (transferred to LSU) and WR De'Zhaun Stribling (NFL Draft). The defense rebuilds around DL Will Echoles and Kam Franklin.
